God started the work of making us like Christ, and He is continuing a work in us through the Holy Spirit’s sanctifying power. Although we are set free from sin by the blood of Christ, we still sin. Pastor Jack Hibbs explains how one of the essential components to Christian living is a desire to honor and follow God’s Word – the Bible. As we repent, reject sin, pray and choose to walk in obedience to God’s Word on a daily basis, we are being sanctified and becoming more like Christ. God will continue to grow His children through the process of sanctification, and as a result the Lord will be blessed through our obedience.
