The Lodge Mahal is a luxury vacation log cabin rental in Pigeon Forge Tennessee, and it recently underwent a decor makeover. The homeowner wanted it to retain its rustic authenticity, but elevate and modernize its general aesthetic. I had the opportunity to speak with Celeste McVey Dirocco of Parkland Interiors, who led the transformation and is a specialist in log cabin designs. She shared the thought process behind each room's transformation, and specific tips and mistakes for decorating log cabins.
