NEW. So Horse Racing on Channel 4 comes to an end after 32 years. Who can forget the original theme music, presumably by Alan Hawkshaw? I've mixed it with the slightly sped-up full cover version by composers known only as "The Formula Band", mainly because this is a clearer version.

According to research, this theme was first used on ITV's final year of coverage back in 1983 (but the date it was written is probably incorrect!).
