February, 1967.
Ray Davies recalls the Kinks' most memorable one nighter: Vienna, 1966. The show was part of their european tour that year. It came at a tumultuous time in the Kinks' career. Pete Quaife had left the band after he was seriously injured in a car crash and he was replaced by John Dalton. Quaife rejoined the band a few months later and stayed with the Kinks until 1969 when he left the band again. John Dalton then joined the band as their permanent bass player until the mid-70s.

So here's the story about the Kinks' most memorable one nighter according to Ray Davies.
