The European Union’s Global Strategy was introduced in 2016 as a response to the growing global challenges. Its ambition is to make the EU more effective in confronting energy security, climate change, migration and violent extremism. The Strategy sets out the interests, principles and priorities for the EU in a more connected and complex world. Today, five years later, we can summarize the hitherto efforts and try to draw conclusions for the future.
On Wednesday, 10 March 2021, the College of Europe in Natolin had the pleasure of hosting an online special lecture with Dr Nathalie Tocci, Director of the Istituto Affari Internazionali in Rome and Special Advisor to the EU's High Representative and Vice-President of the European Commission Mr Josep Borrell. The online special lecture was moderated by Professor Thomas Mayr-Harting.
