Hurricane season is upon us here in Florida. I spent way too much time picking out a generator and probably too much time talking about how/why I ended up with the iGen2200. If you're looking for a portable generator to keep the lights on when the power's out but not sure what size or type you may need this video should provide a few insights.

Prices seem to fluctuate greatly as I've seen it anywhere from $370 to $520. Generators from Champion, Generac, Wen, Ryobi, and Predator in this class will likely operate similarly and if you have the cash and depend on your generator then check out the similar Hondas (at twice the price).
