For some of us, a small craft advisory means we are being advised to get in our small craft and go paddle!
Conditions were sporty, though relatively tame given there was no current against the Force 7 wind speed. Still, a nice tide race and a chance to play with an opportunity to work on paddling backwards into the wind and chaotic water (including draw strokes on the move), boat control, and rolling and rescue practice (didn't get the self-rescue recorded).
- Tide height - 12.47 ft/3.8 m - Nearest safe landing was a minimum of a mile in any direction
- Wind speed - #SmallCraftAdvisory with sustained forecasted winds WSW at 15 knots with gusts to 28 knots (not sure the wind speed dropped below 20 knots)
- Current - less than 1 knot, ebbing
