Malini Boudi, a 23-minute animated episode series, is the first Bengali animated mega soap.
The main protagonist is a 35-year-old enthusiastic and strong woman, Malini Boudi, a typical housewife from the Sen Family of North Kolkata. She lives in a joint family with her IT professional husband, their eight-year-old son, her father-in-law, mother-in-law, sister-in-law, and brother-in-law. Her father-in-law, Mr. Manotosh Sen, owns a traditional saree business. Despite their different mentalities, all the family members live together under the same roof.
Malini Boudi is a character with a strong intellect, bravery, and a very pleasant personality. She always stands up against any wrongdoing, not only within her family but also in the society. In every episode, she resolves such issues. This series highlights the power of women in our society.
