“El Reloj” (The Clock)

Beautiful bolero composed by Roberto Cantoral . This song was composed in 1956 and was a hit one year later with the interpretation by "Los Tres Caballeros" (Roberto Cantoral’s group). There is a story that this song was composed by Cantoral while in a hospital with his wife (who was very ill ). The doctor had informed Cantoral that they had done all that was possible and she probably would not survive until dawn. There was a wall clock in the hospital, impossible not to be noticed, as a witness of separation that was to occur.
