Dear Friends, as you listen to this message please HOLD this in mind. True Christianity is a narrow path paved with hardships that God graciously uses to perfect us into the image of His son. We are constantly being sanctified be Jesus till the day we live this earth ( Hebrews 3 &4 ) and the same passages also tell us that it is through suffering that obedience was cultivated In our Lord and so why should we expect different?

However, THIS post and message if you read the title is not speaking on one’s Christian LIFE JOURNEY but on a specific part of life- choosing a life partner. When you read the Bible to understand God’s character about the process of finding a mate it is clear. 1) Genesis 2 tells us how God PRESENTED the woman to Adam. It shows us how God views us women, his precious daughters whom he never designed to pursue a man, yes show interest but not pursue. God will present you. 2) in Corinthians we learn how the man is the covering of his wife. This shows us how God desires for women to be covered In love, prayers etc by their husbands. We were all made in God’s image and it is my belief that women show God’s more delicate side and it is beautiful to behold. I could go on and on. So now when you look at how Satan operates, he always counterfeits God’s design and it’s no surprise our society has trained women to chase after men etc,
As Christian women traps many of us fell in including me when dating was enduring the wrong relationships even with Christian men in the name of being “submissive” or something we can pray through. THIS IS NOT RIGHT. No where in God’s heart and character is there “ women are to endure struggle love” yes you and your partner can STRUGGLE TOGETHER but not struggle love- I hope you know the difference.

So please don’t generalisations about this message, it is not about life in general it is an encouragement to stay in the word to know How God sees us and his character towards us so that while we date we don’t out of desperation just think because he is Christian he will do regardless of the relationship dynamic. I have had my fair share of life challenges and would never be naive to think being In God means all is wonderful.
the reality of many Christian women who unfortunately have ended up in wrong marriages because they thought because he is Christian it’s going to be ok shows you how a message helping young women especially get it that God desires healthy and wholesome relationships for you that don’t involve struggle love is needed especially within my black Christian community! When a single person gets to know God through the word they will cut out a lot of heartache dating or seeking employment. I repeat THIS message is NOT about Christian LIFE is easy and that God’s character is seen in a life that is all wonderful smelling roses! NO God’s character is good even in difficult seasons, he will never be anything but Good but this goodness is not measured by wonderful moments only! Even in the pain, but this message isn’t about Christian Life but SPECIFIC to relationships-seeking God’s way of courtship and seeing Him in it. As you spend more time in the word of God, you will become more aware of how God operates and also His nature. God won’t always give us what we want, there will be seasons of wilderness and it’s important to ensure it is a Spirit Led Wilderness for the purposes of God and not a self inflicted wilderness.
When we know God we will be able to see his presence or absence in a matter through our invested knowledge of Him. Simply put READ THE WORD asking the Holy Spirit to reveal the father’s character and nature to you.
