Together with the new Airbus A380 and the Junkers Ju 52 [D-AQUI], affectionately known in German as "Tante Ju" ("Auntie Ju") meaning "Only You", celebrated her 75th birthday in Hamburg last weekend on May 7th, and May 8th. The two aircrafts met for a birthday in the sky over the Elbe river. Annually round 10,000 passengers experience this special way of flying onboard the Air Hansa Ju 52. Air Hansa acquired "Iron Annie" in 1984 and since 1986 she has completed almost 17,000 take-offs and landings.
