Around Belgrade, Serbia, there are 3 strong preconceptions.
1) which is one of the cheapest cities in Europe.
2) that it is the European capital of the party.
3) that Serbs are rude or temperamental.

Regarding the first point, we consider that it is not the cheapest country in Europe since there are other Balkan countries that are cheaper, but we must recognize that Belgrade is the city where things happen, since it is the capital of Serbia and the economic and artistic center most important in the entire Balkan region, and considering this, it is not an expensive tourist destination.

Around the second point, everyone talks about the type of party that can be in Belgrade, only heavy party, and many classify it as a great night-time tourist destination.

And on the third point, the Serbian people surprised us, supremely kind and gentle, supportive and cooperative. They were just a bit rude at the borders, as expected, traveling with a Colombian and emergency passport 😅
