The final two days of our trip to Ust-Bolsheretsk. Foggy morning, we move to the place where we found coho salmon yesterday. I took a jig from Marat and literally on the very first posting I caught the first coho salmon from the place that I had previously caught with the turntable. Jig 16 grams, which is clearly a lot for this point without flow, but the fish pecked. Before that, I had not even heard that coho salmon were caught on a jig. A very interesting topic that I would like to develop on my next trips. In addition to coho salmon, coho salmon are often caught on the jig. It is especially interesting to fish in deep places with strong currents, which cannot be penetrated with a spinning spoon. On this day, we leave for the camp early. My waders started leaking. Next morning, sunny and very cold, strong wind. I try to seal the waders with liquid patch, but it does not help, so I will fish this day from the shore. I continue to develop the jig theme. Several good coho and coho salmon in a strong current, in clear water, attacks in plain sight. Next, with Marat, we explore one of the channels and find coho salmon there, which we successfully catch on turntables. We spend one more night in the camp and in the morning we get ready and leave for home. Great and interesting trip.
