In a small village hidden among the orange forests of autumn, there is an old house decorated with glowing pumpkins. On Halloween night, the full moon shines brightly, creating a mysterious and spooky atmosphere.

The house belongs to an old man named Mr. Goffrey, who is famous in the village for the ghost stories he often tells to the children. This year, he has prepared something special for Halloween night. He created a giant scarecrow from straw, dressed it in old clothes, and put a giant pumpkin on its head with a ghostly smile.

The children in the village, including Alice, Jack, and Tom, curious about Mr. Goffrey's new story, decide to explore the house on Halloween night. As the children approach, the pumpkins around it begin to glow more strongly, and the scarecrow seems to move. Alice feels something is wrong, but Jack and Tom decide to go in.

As they passed through the creaking door, they found a room filled with old books, an altar decorated with faded family photos. Suddenly, a voice rang out from somewhere in the house: "Welcome, children, it's story time."

Mr. Goffrey appeared from the shadows, a friendly smile but a mysterious look in his eyes. He began to tell the story of an ancient spirit, cursed to guard the house every Halloween night. That spirit was the straw effigy in the yard. If anyone had the courage and a pure heart, they would be protected by the spirit and given good luck in life.

When the story ended, the straw effigy suddenly appeared right outside the window, but instead of being scary, it bowed to the children. Alice, Jack and Tom felt a warm breeze surround them, and they knew that they were protected by the spirit.

The children left the house with gratitude and joy, carrying with them the magical story of this year's Halloween night, knowing they had experienced a magical and memorable night.
