AGDAL explores the dual themes of preservation and survival amidst climate change, revealing the increasing vulnerability of Morocco's Amazigh communities, guardians of vital landscapes like Agdal, community oases, argan forests, etc. It calls for reflection and action to enhance their adaptation and resilience amidst the growing climate emergency.

The album is produced as part of the Community Heritage Exchange Initiative (CHEI), a collaboration of the U.S. Department of State Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation and StoryCenter, a U.S.-based NGO.
