Now the topic of the hardest video game genre or the one with the highest skill floor is very subjective, and there are many reasons for this. Mostly because of how different game genres can be from one another, possibly requiring players to learn new mechanics and skills to play them. And in my very personal opinion that may or may not be fact but now I’m MAKING it fact, I’ve found the most technical game genre of all. One that even if you’ve never touched a game from that genre you could agree that 95% of players are absolutely trash at the genre but still play it anyway because it's challenging, rewarding and most importantly, fun…at least at times…
