This past week was banned books week, which is a time when the book community celebrates the many books that have been challenged or outright banned throughout the years.

Many of these books are challenged by people who failed to understand what meaning and the message of the book, while others were simply trying silence those who offend them.

This week we discuss banned books as a whole, and the whole notion of banning books in general.
