📌 Este fantástico molino de viento de estilo Neo Mudéjar data de finales del S.XIX y actualmente el Ayuntamiento de Cassà de la Selva tiene prevista su restauración y hemos tenido el privilegio de poder entrar.

🥸 Al no existir documentación de este monumento no se puede afirmar con seguridad quien fue su autor, pero todo indica que fue el arquitecto Josep Balet Duran que también proyectó el palacete neogótico urbano Can Trinxeria proyectado en 1897 que lo alberga en su patio posterior.

🏛️ El hecho de que el padre de Josep Balet Duran fuera Domènec Balet Nadal con proyectos como la Casa Pere Llibre y el Edificio Alhambra de Barcelona de estilo Neomudéjar reafirman esta teoria e incluso podríamos estar hablando también que podria tratarse de un proyecto realizado por padre e hijo.

This fantastic Neo - Mudejar style windmill dates from the end of the 19th century and the Cassà de la Selva Town Hall is currently planning its restoration and we have had the privilege of being able to enter it.

As there is no documentation of this monument, it is not possible to say with certainty who was its author, but everything indicates that it was the architect Josep Balet Duran who also designed the Can Trinxeria urban neo-Gothic mansion designed in 1897 that houses it in its backyard.
