The chase for Great Lakes Steelhead is on once again. As the weather has started to cool and turn to autumn the steelhead have started to run. Adam (from the Orvis Buffalo shop) and I used a half day to fish a Lake Erie tributary after a little bit of rain. We took the spey rods out and swung streamers. There are some unexpected results...
This is the first time Adam and I were able to get our schedules to work after trying for literally years. The morning broke out of the backside of a truck stop and we caravanned over wet and muddy roads but made it to the spot and chased the fish.
