This video demonstrates the Tekla Tedds Column base plate design calculation to the Eurocode. The calculation checks the design of a column base plate for applied moments, compressive and tensile axial forces, and shear. The calculation also includes an anchor design check for proprietary metal anchor data from a manufacturers' ETA which is checked for tension and shear forces as appropriate.
