Alright, let's dive into something a bit controversial - personal brands.

Recently, I heard someone say that personal brands are dead. Seriously? Dead?

Absolutely not! They're more alive than ever!

Look at folks like Elon Musk. The guy could launch an aftershave tomorrow and people would flock to buy it, just because it's him. Why? Because he stands for something, and that's the crux of a personal brand.

People want to believe in the person behind the product or company.

There are two types of branding:

Community branding, which creates a cult-like following and culture. Think Tesla or Apple. Their users aren't just customers; they're fanatics and part of the club. They'll stand in line for hours to be the first to get the new iPhone. This all stems from the "why" of their founders, the visionaries who stood up and declared what they stand for and created a culture of people that lead the charge in being first or innovating.

Now, let's talk about you - the personal brand. What's your personal brand saying about you?

If you're thinking, "I don't have a personal brand," think again... You do!

People already have opinions about you and are talking about you. The real question is, are you controlling that narrative? If you’re not actively shaping it, someone else is, and it might not be in your favor.

Your brand is what people say about you when you're not in the room. So, what are you doing to ensure they're saying the right things?

As AI is commoditizing more and more...

Personal brands aren't just alive; they're crucial!

Stand up for what you believe in and take charge of your narrative. Don’t let someone else define you. And don't blend in.
