All sounds from BLIPBLOX SK2 with no external effects used (just some eq and compression)

My son got this cool little thingy for Christmas and of course, daddy had to take it for a jam during his midday sleep 😴🤫
But what is it actually? Looks like a toy, but can sound really professional…
Under the childish looking chasis there is a digital monosynth with 16 oscilator models, two selectable modulation sources (wavetable scanning, fm, pulsewith and more). There are also 3 kinds of filter, 2 LFOs, multitap delay and two buttons with a hundred of adjustable sounds samples. You can run it on batteries or power cable and right after turning it on, you can go through the lot of built in sequences and just start tweaking. I also like the standard midi input socket so you can play the synth from an external midi controler (in my case arturia keystep). What I kind of miss, is the midi output, because some of the sequences are very inspiring and could be used to trigger other synths.
TBH, at first, after watching some yt demos, I was a little bit sceptical about it but after I got it under my hands, I found out it has a real potential and can sound really good. I also like the unusual workflow, it sometimes feels a little chaotic but that is what makes you forget all the stereotypes and have just fun of playing and creating.
Let me know what you think about it (later I found out there are also more “happy” sounding tunes but I got inspired by this one, and - if you don’t take advantage of the one you just found, you might wait a long time to find it again among more than 400 of them 😊)
