Evaluating the ecological impacts of waves and shoreline erosion with Curtis Lazore, Arman Hagiggi, Colin Rennie, and Matt Windle - Science + Nature ONTap

Join us to learn about wave cycle science and its relationship to shoreline erosion and aquatic habitat quality. For the last two years, the Great River Network, River Institute, University of Ottawa, South Nation Conservation, and the Raisin Region Conservation Authority have been working together to gain a better understanding of wave action and its impacts on our shorelines.

This presentation details a two-year collaborative project between the Great River Network, the St. Lawrence River Institute of Environmental Sciences (River Institute), the University of Ottawa, South Nation Conservation, and the Raisin Region Conservation Authority.  This presentation provides new knowledge to understand the relationships between wave cycle science, shoreline erosion, and aquatic habitat quality.

Speakers:
Curtis Lazore, Great River Network
Arman Hagiggi, University of Ottawa
Colin Rennie, University of Ottawa
