On April 28, 2020, the seven-coach ICE4 multiple units 9203 and 9204 were on acceptance test for long-distance traffic on the Cologne / Rhine-Main route. After the acceptance test, the trains will remain with the manufacturer for further approval campaigns with other train configurations and therefore will not immediately appear in everyday operation.
The clips were created between the branches at Breckenheim and Caltex. From the Oberbach car park on the A3 in the direction of Cologne, you can easily reach a bridge over the route that offers insights. The street noise comes from the parallel highway. Looking south, you can usually see planes taking off or landing at Frankfurt Airport every minute - currently you rarely see a plane.
