Kulasai festival happens during Dussehra or during the Navaratri and the dates are 10,11,12,

12th is the main day, as many people attend that day…

You can start shooting from the 10th itself and towards the 13th… yes, u can capture on these four days…
Prescribed days will be 11,12,13

The festival takes place in the village name called “Kulasekharapatanam”
at Sri Mutharamman Temple, which is 14km from thiruchendur.

So, if you are planning to visit the festival

The nearest railway station is Thiruchendur…nearest airport is Tuticorin, approximately 40km from Tiruchendur.

To the people attending from other states, you have to reach Thiruchendur on the 10th, a village in Tamil Nadu.

Nearest airport:

Chennai - Tiruchendur 640km
Madurai - Thiruchendur 184km
Tuticorin - Tiruchendur 40km

My suggestion is to travel to Chennai…

If you reach Chennai, you have two options
Take a bus to Tiruchendur ( 9-10hours journey )
Catch a train to Tiruchendur ( 14 hours journey )

For Makeup shots: Udangudi, and Thandavan Ghat are the places

You can get accommodations in Tiruchendur

The minimum journey duration for a bus from Chennai to Tiruchendur is 09:54. Passengers travelling by bus from Chennai to Tiruchendur cover a distance of approximately 640 km. The first bus for Tiruchendur from Chennai leaves at 17:10 and the last bus leaves Chennai at 22:00
