In all things we must give thanks (1Thessalonians 5:18). So I thank God for Nigeria, my home country which I love so much and has such rich culture, great people and delicious food amongst numerous other virtues.

In honour of the Nigerian Independence Day, Chef Ope Odutayo joined us at Tales and Tatase and taught us a delicious version of the Nigerian Egusi. I call it Egusi 2.0.

This culinary adventure is enlightening on so many levels!
