The documentary film "Don Angelo" follows Angelo Chavez, a retired U.S. naval officer who spends his retirement years driving from San Diego across the border to Tijuana, Mexico to help and serve those in need. Filmed and Edited by Adam Taub released in 2006.

In the film, Don Angelo, along with others, takes bread, food, and other goods from locations in San Diego, across the border to those in need in Tijuana, Mexico. He also helps provide for the diverse needs of families by doing things such as taking kids to the dentist. In the film we hear from Angelo, those who share in his service work, and families in Tijuana He spent many years building relationships and friendships through his work in Mexico. He works with non-profits, food banks, catholic charities, orphanages, families, private individuals, and more.
