"Bhagtan Ra Bhiru" is a melodious Meera Bhajan that begins with recounting the glory of Lord Krishna, effortlessly lifting the Govardhan Parvat on his little finger to save the villagers from raging Indra. Saint Meera says that Lord Krishna is a friend to all those who seeks him, she asks him that where he is now, why is he delaying his divine grace and presence?

When Rana and his family tried to poison Meera, she drank the cup of poison in one go that soon turned into Amrit by the divine blessings of Lord Krishna. Meera Bai continues to sing praises of her dear Lord Giridhari and seeks for his blessings.

'Bhakti' of the style of Meera is not just worship but involves a deeper madness altogether. A readiness to abandon everything including oneself. Meera Bai, a Hindu mystic poet and a devotee of Krishna were one of the most significant saints of the Vaishnava bhakti movement. She sang of her love for Krishna with such simplicity and directness that in her songs millions have found a voice and echo of their own God-yearning.
