This is tape 3 of raw video footage filmed in Petersburg, Alaska, in the early 2000s. The video features an interview with boat and paddle carver Arnold Haube (1939-2013) as he discusses the Tlingit clans, totem poles, and the importance of culture in the present day. This is followed by a short interview with Tommy Joseph, a totem pole carver, as he discusses the process of carving a totem pole. the video concludes with the first part of an interview with Clarence Jackson of Kake, Alaska.
