Is your computer not recognizing your USB drive? Don't worry, you're not alone, and we’re here to help!

First, let’s check the basics. Make sure your USB drive is properly inserted into the port. Sometimes, a loose connection can be the culprit.

Next, try a different USB port. If your drive works in another port, the original one might be faulty. Still not working? Let’s test the drive on another computer. If it’s recognized there, the issue might be with your computer’s settings.

Now, let's dive into some software fixes. Right-click on the Start menu and select "Device Manager." Look for any devices with a yellow triangle. If you see one, right-click and choose "Update Driver." Sometimes, outdated drivers can cause recognition issues.

If that doesn’t work, go to "Disk Management." Here, you can see if your USB drive is recognized but unallocated. If it appears, you may need to format it. Just remember, formatting will erase all data, so back it up if possible!

If you’re still having trouble, consider checking for Windows updates or trying a different USB drive to rule out hardware issues.
