Our first stop was the enchanting Threshing Village, known for its unmatched beauty. Towering mountains, lush green fields, and dense forests surrounded us, creating a picture-perfect setting. As we pushed forward towards Rupal, we encountered harrowing stretches of road that sent shivers down our spines, yet our driver's expertise never faltered.

Upon reaching Rupal, we commenced our hike towards the hallowed base camp of Nanga Parbat, known as Harlan Coffer. This base camp holds a unique significance as it houses the graves of brave souls who dared to conquer Nanga Parbat's formidable summit.

After conquering Harlan Coffer, our expedition led us to the colossal Bazin Glacier, a sight to behold. We pressed on, eventually reaching Somail, the highest point that offers unparalleled vistas of Taponi Meadows, Nanga Parbat, and the sprawling Bazin Glacier.

However, our ultimate goal for the day was Latabo Village, the last outpost of civilization before the untamed wilderness of Nanga Parbat. From Latabo Village, we embarked on a remarkable hike to Latabo Lake. The journey took us 30 minutes from Latabo Village and 3 hours from Harlan Coffer, but the views were worth every step.
