The 2025 Nissan Murano made its public debut today at Nissan Americas Headquarters, showcasing its all-new premium design along with a comprehensive array of features and technologies.

The all-new Murano features a seamless, solid, and clean design, highlighted by striking proportions that include an increase of over 2.6 inches in overall body width and elegantly flared rear fenders that convey a sense of power.

The front end is notably sleek, showcasing ultra-thin “Crystal Cube” LED headlights on either side of a gloss-black trim strip, which is distinct from the vehicle’s grille. The iconic V-motion graphic is represented by LED daytime running lights cleverly integrated into the grille, giving the Murano a modern and polished appearance.

The liftgate also stands out with its crisp design: the rear wiper is cleverly positioned above the rear window, exhaust tips are concealed, and the license plate holder has been relocated to the lower bumper. A dramatic LED tail light element spans the full width of the liftgate, creating a striking lighting signature at night.

Nissan designers have created an interior that is modern, minimalist, and elegant, with major elements thoughtfully arranged around a horizontal design theme. The standard dual 12.3-inch displays are seamlessly integrated into the surroundings using stitched materials, ensuring that occupants come into contact only with soft, comfortable surfaces.

The Murano comes standard with dual 12.3-inch displays. The center display is a touchscreen that provides entertainment, information, and more, featuring standard wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto. Meanwhile, the left-hand display functions as the vehicle’s instrument cluster and offers multiple configurable display modes.

Like the all-electric Nissan Ariya, the Murano features a capacitive-touch panel for climate controls. Furthermore, push-button shifters help maximize center console space for storage, cup holders, and the standard wireless phone charging pad.

premium features enhances the cabin's comfort and hospitality, including a panoramic moonroof, heated, cooled, and massaging front seats, a heated steering wheel, and 64-color ambient lighting that sets a welcoming atmosphere throughout the interior.

The cargo area provides 32.9 cubic feet of storage with the seats raised and 63.5 cubic feet with them lowered. A standard power liftgate is included, while the Platinum trim adds a motion-activated power liftgate for added convenience.

The Murano is equipped with a standard 2.0-liter Variable-Compression Turbo engine, delivering 241 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque—an increase of 20 lb-ft compared to the previous model. This engine is paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission, complete with paddle shifters for a more engaging driving experience. Idle stop-start technology comes standard.

The Murano SV offers the choice of front-wheel drive or Intelligent All-Wheel Drive, while the SL and Platinum trims come with standard AWD.

The 2025 Nissan Murano is set to arrive at dealerships in early 2025, with pricing details to be revealed closer to the launch date.
