Welcome back guys! so I started this whole interior tear down project before I started doing YouTube videos so the first half of the video is after I got my camera to start doing videos, I threw in a bunch of clips of how it looked before, all RAT-INFESTED and some clips and the end of all the sound deadening I put in. if you plan on removing the headliner out of your ML you have two options, you either un-glue the harness from the headliner or you cut the wires at the driver A-pillar and reattach them all later when you're ready to put it back in. I chose to un-glue the harness. I wish they had a connector at the A-pillar like a lot of cars I worked on while I worked at ford, nonetheless, if you were actually replacing the head liner board you would have to unglue the harness anyways. Removing all the handles and visors and the dome light assembly and stuff really sucks, they don't use screws. that was the least favorite part of the whole job. Happy wrenching! Also, my buddy had re done the headliner for me and when the old one came off it became really flimsy, if anyone has a good idea of an easy way to reinforce it definitely drop that in the comment section.
