Don't be afraid to modify gear. Example: my Exped Lightning 60. Good pack, too complex.

The message of this video is twofold: -just do it, and -check out this cool trick with the exped lightning 60. I do, by the way, recommend that pack. It may be a little hard to live with (no top pocket, have to be careful when loading it because it has only one stay) BUT, it combines two things that you really want in a backpack in a rare way. It is both very light (less than 1000 grams) and can carry heavy loads comfortably. I find that up to 20kg is really good, after that it gets old quickly. I normally travel very light, but I use this pack for winter camping, for longer packrafting trips and when I go backcountry camping with my family. Then, the children and my wife carry what they can and I, ummm, carry everything else. That is never over great distances, but can be up to 30 kg.

BTW: for Germany, I don't understand that price. I certainly paid less than this.
