Here's #8 in my Every Inch series of the CHSR. This one revisits Deer Creek Viaduct and goes to Poso Creek, near Wasco, CA

Even though I ended the last one at Avenue 56, you guys asked if I could start the next one south at Deer Creek again. Once you pass Avenue 56, there is a whole lot of nothing for quite a while. It is on the edge of old Tulare Lake. Once we pass Allensworth, you start to see a lot of pistachio trees then almond trees. We move from CP3 to CP4 about then and it is a drastic difference. CP4 is so much more far ahead. It seems all ready for ballast and rails except for just a couple spots that look like maybe utility relocation problems.

When the drone is in collision avoidance and there's not a lot of head wind, it flies about 26 mph. Between the interesting bits, I speed the video up to 800%. That's like about 208 mph, almost as fast as the train should go. I'm flying about 150' above the ground and that may seem to take away some of the speed, but it's still cool to think about :)

Since there was not a whole lot of crossings out here, I flew it in the way I think I will fly every video when I start from the beginning again, with little to no orbits, to cover more ground per minute of final video.

This change came on a weekend when I just wasn't feeling up to it. Someone left open, or didn't close right, my side gate and three of my dogs got out. Dallas, one of my boxers shown at the end of this video was ran over and killed on the freeway near my house. When I flew this, both of the little doggies were still missing. Since then, one of the little doggies were found but one is still missing.
