The apocalypse will occur when the last of the righteous dies. Humanity has only anonymously distributed "36 Righteous People" around the world, who unsuspectingly defend the universe with their mere existence. A young photographer is pursued by mysterious figures. He does not know why. Everything seems to be connected to his date of birth and a millennia-old sect. They believe that the only way to lead the world into a new and better age is to track down and destroy the "36 Righteous People". Only one of these 36 is still alive. They want purification through destruction. The sacrifice of a single man should decide the fate of all of humanity.
