The Wild Azalea Trail is a 24.3 Mile point to point trail located in Kisatchie National Forest in Louisiana. It has an elevation gain of 1745 ft. It meanders through the forest from the Valentine Lake area to just outside the town of Woodworth. It is rated as moderate and is surprisingly tough. The trail is sectioned and with various trailheads you can make this into a shorter hike if you choose. The Wild Azaleas are in bloom primarily in the spring during the March/April timeframe.
