I have to say that this scene confused me at first. I love the humour of it.
Elayne the singer is a witch who uses seeds to get the crowd to dance. Tally is instantly effected by this and starts to dance with Adil and Abigail (as well as a few random people). Parts of the song seem to be distorted. This is your clue that Elayne is no ordinary singer. Near the end, Khalida nods to Alder indicating that Elayne is the one they've been looking for. They are on a treasure hunt to find the "first song" and this Elayne has a clue to where the next piece is.
Season 3 seems very different from anything that's come before and so far I am loving it.
