I converted my drive chain to a 530 Xring chain over two years ago now and its been one of the best upgrades I have done.
From what I have seen to date with it, I doubt I will even have to tighten the chain in 10k miles, as at 5k its the same adjustment wise as when I first put it on and there is no chain stretch detectable.

The Xring chain is much stronger than the standard chain and fits straight onto the standard sprockets front and back of your Bonnie, so no need for special sprockets to be made for you each time you need a sprocket change.
It is however much wider than the std Reynolds chain and consequently needs a small amount of material grinding off the castings on the gearbox to allow sufficient clearance for it to run correctly.
You do need a chain splitter with these chains and there are plenty of videos on UTUBE to show you how to use one to fit the chain.

Straighten your chain case dead straight and run 100x90x18 tires.
This leaves a full 5mm gap between the chain case and the tire. It may be possible to run a 110x 90 x 18 but ive never tried that.
The 100 x 90 x 18 works perfectly and in fact the orientation between front to back is much better, as you are not moving the centers as you lean the bike over on corners. I often have the bike over on the pegs and she's confident and stable on bends and under hard braking .I run Avon Roadrunners.
Hope this helps.
