The video quality isn't brilliant as this was shot back in 2003, but you will not believe that a Boeing 747 Jumbo jet can turn and climb at these angles and fly quite as slow as this one does.

I shot this at the Duxford Centenary of Flight Airshow and there was nothing at all special about where I stood or how I shot it - the angles and slow slow speed of the flight are absolutely what we in the crowd saw.

The South African Airways pilot shows that he certainly knows how to handle this enormous flying machine - an aircraft that seems to defy the laws of gravity during normal flight never mind when doing these manoeuvres.
