ah! so! decision time!
(EDIT 05/29/2024: thank you to everybody who watched and commented and gave their thoughts! figured i should update y'all at some point - i chose harvard. it was a really tough call that i agonized over and am still somewhat agonizing over, but for me, it came down to a few key issues, in case any of you are making a similar decision: a) harvard is four years, cambridge is only three, and i want to stay in university for longer. b) making friends becomes harder once you graduate university, and because i want to come back to settle permanently in the US, i didn't want all my close contacts to be in a different country. c) hsps is so cool and so perfect for me, but i still want to be able to take classes outside my major / retain the ability to change my mind about what i want to study. d) the social scene at cambridge is different than at an american university, and i think i've always wanted the american experience. e) just on a gut instinct level: i really wanted to say yes to both, but i didn't think i could get myself to say no to harvard.
anyways, i hope that's helpful if any of y'all are thinking through a similar choice! trust your gut, have faith, and dw, worst comes to worst, we can be indecision buddies together)
