A while back, I saw a post by Dom_ITG on the Stamina Nation Discord suggesting that $4 IKEA cutting boards would make a good material for an ITG pad. Well joke's on Dom, because cutting boards at my IKEA are $3, and the result is probably the craziest pad I've built so far. Github page including CAD files, gcode and Bill of Materials here: https://github.com/Natologic/plasticT...

This plastic pad uses 5 IKEA LEGITIM cutting boards secured together with M4 brass inserts and flat-head screws. The four are secured to 3D-printed hinges, which provide access to the knockoff FSRs underneath. The total cost of the pad was about $42.60.

Did it work? Yes. With an overall size of about 16"x13.5"x0.85" [LxWxH] it fits into my carry-on suitcase without disassembly and hasn't yet triggered any of the TSA scanners. But do I recommend you build it? Not really - the panels are kind of wobbly and it can be too narrow to comfortably do anything but stamina on. Feel free to alter and improve the design to fit your needs.

Here's me passing an ITG "14" on this pad:    • Nato - Grimoire of Blue [14] IKEA Pad...
