Born in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh on 14th September 1970, Kavita Seth is an Indian Singer known for her playback in Hindi films and also ghazals and Sufi music performances across the country and abroad. She debuted as a playback singer in 2005 film 'Vaada' by Satish Kaushik.
She's popularly known for her song "Goonja Sa Hai Koi Iktara" from the film "Wake Up Sid" for which she won a Filmfare award. Her ghazals in Mira Nair's "The Suitable Boy" are mesmerizing. She also leads a Sufi musical group "Karwaan".
