This unusual church, built as a memorial to the donor's two sons, contains a glorious ring of eight by Mears & Stainbank of the Whitechapel Bell Foundry, cast in 1930. One of their early harmonically-tuned rings. There are a further 9 chiming bells and the whole lot can be chimed from a clavier. There is even a practice clavier in the ringing chamber which uses tubular bells! The ringing bells are superb in every way and are fortunate to have excellent acoustics which gives them a real presence despite not being heavy. The tenor is 14-0-10 in F.
