"Both Sides, Now" is a song by Canadian singer-songwriter Joni Mitchell. One of the first recordings is by Judy Collins, whose version appeared on the US singles chart during the fall of 1968.  This version is sung by the Aruban-Dutch singer, songwriter and occasional actor, professionally known as Euson.  It is one of the best interpretations of this legendary song.

According to Wikipedia, Joni Mitchell's song "Both Sides, Now" was inspired by a passage in Saul Bellow's 1959 novel "Henderson the Rain King". While reading the book on a plane, Mitchell noticed a scene where the main character looks down at clouds from above.
Mitchell was inspired to write the song's lyrics about looking at clouds from both sides as a metaphor for life's mysteries and ambiguities.
