A BETTER QUALITY VERSION IS NOW UPLOADED    • Video

PLEASE WATCH THE REVISED VERSIONS AT THE LINKS PROVIDED IN THE ANNOTATIONS. We have uploaded 2 updated versions to our channel that are better quality and the most recent has game footage added.. This version was a rush job and we didn't properly download pics for the slide show which is why this version is pixelated. The newer version is much better and we will be taking this one down when we have more activity on the newer ones. We admit to being new to the process of doing video/slide shows and know better now how to get proper downloads for pics and video to use here. Sorry for an inconvenience. We will hate loosing this popular version but there is just no way to replace the video and keep this one's views and comments.

Lyrics: Saban Went Down To Texas

Saban went down to Texas, he was looking for revenge
He was in a bind he was one behind with Texas A&M
When He came across this young boy, flinging a ball and flinging it hot.
Ole Saban met him on the gridiron and he said boy let me tell you what.
I guess you didn't know we've got a quarterback here too
and if you care to take a dare, I'll make a bet you.
Now you play pretty good football boy, but give McCarron his due.
I'll bet a crystal ball against it all
cause I think he's better than you.

Well the boy said my name is Johnny and I'm always picked to win,
but I'll take your bet and your gonna regret cause I'm the best there's ever been.

Johnny loosen up your arm and throw that football hard
Cuz hells in College Station and Nick Saban deals the cards.
And If you win you'll keep your shiny statue made of bronze,
But if you loose ole Saban's number one

Well Johnny had the ball first and he and said I'll start this show
and fire flew from his fingertips as he rallied up his throws
Till he threw an interception to the Alabama defense
and a Rama Jamma joined in and it sounded something like this,

Johnny tried to mount a comeback Saban said you've had your fun
now get back on sidelines AJ show him how it's done

Fire on the mountain roll tide roll
Saban's in the house with a mighty blow
Where is the 12th man no one knows
Johnny can ya come back no child no

Johnny hung his head because he knew that he'd been beat,
and he laid that hiesman trophy on the ground at Saban's feet
Just come on back to T town if you ever wanna try again
We done told you once you sun of a gun we're the best there's ever been.

Fire on the mountain roll tide roll
Saban's in the house with a mighty blow
Where is the 12th man no one knows
Johnny can ya come back no child no

Rammer Jammer Yellow Hammer
Roll Tide Roll
Roll Tide Roll
All for Bama Roll Tide Roll
