I really didn’t want to go into reading Save the Cat! Writes a Novel in a completely negative headspace. I tried to look for the positive, the helpful in it, and started reading with that in mind. It wasn’t easy, and I had to step back and remind myself of this intention a number of times as I worked through the book.
