The Teller County Sheriff’s Office said at about 7:45 p.m. on Thursday that 12 people who had been trapped underground for about six hours were safely above ground after officials were able to use the mine’s elevator to lift them out four at a time. FOX31's Nate Belt was live at the scene when all 12 people were rescued.
