“Emilia: Breaking Free” is a 2017 suspense drama based on actual events in post World War II Lithuania: the mundane, imposed terrestrial way of life, political repressions and fights for the independence from the Soviet regime at the time when the limitations of free speech were critical and severe. The heroes find unimagined love but their unconditional devotion to their motherland and fights for the independence result in their destroyed destinies.
