Norwegian traffic rules are not like in your country. So, who are the biggest losers and winners in this unique system? And which vehicle can harm us all, almost without consequences? What do you have to do to survive on the Norwegian roads and pavements? In this very informative and sarcastic video, you will gain valuable insight into being a road user in Norway. You will learn about the general rules. What the unwritten rules are. And how Norwegians behave when meeting other road users. The answer is probably a big surprise for foreigners who visit, live in or study in Norway.
In this video, Ronald and Mads, the Yourway2Norway team, are in the middle of traffic in Oslo. While the Tesla’s whiz by, the traffic lights flash and the cyclists appear everywhere, Ronald explains the basic codes and what the Norwegian traffic philosophy is all about. We also explain the special Norwegian expression “Soft Road User” - or Softies if you like. Which is very important to understand. We zoom in on roundabouts, cracked pavements, paved streets and one of Norway's largest traffic intersections.
With their lives at stake, the guys throw themselves into a roundabout, are almost hit by a scooter and Ronald barely manages to save Mads from being killed by a bus - all so that you can get the insider knowledge that no one else but Yourway2Norway can bring to you: With self-deprecating humour, universal body language and some good old cringe episodes.

** ABOUT YOURWAY2NORWAY **
YOURWAY2NORWAY is a different travel channel. We combine education with humor and entertainment. It’s an authentic inside guide to real life in Norway. We highlight small and large themes, cultural characteristics and Norwegian phenomena. All the stuff you won’t find in a tourist brochure.
The content is perfect for people who travel to Norway as tourists, visit friends and family in Norway, study in Norway or work in Norway. It is ideal for anyone with Norwegian roots and DNA. It is also interesting for anyone who wants to learn more about other cultures and people. And for all of you looking for some smile and laughter.
The guys behind are; Ronald Sagatun – a enthusiastic and sarcastic Sami Latino with a Norwegian passport. Throughout his life he has tried to find out what it means to be Norwegian. Now he shares his hilarious experiences. Mads is a grumpy Norwegian dude, providing the channel authenticity and the typical Norwegian way of viewing the world. We always try to be funny, self-deprecating, human and, when it´s necessary; sincere and passionate.
